What animal is this, can Kaught really tell me from a photo?
Yes. Point your camera at the animal, take a photo, and Kaught identifies the species in about a second: bug, bird, spider, snake, fish, reptile, mammal or amphibian. It's trained on thousands of wild species and tells you how confident it is.
Is this spider venomous? Is this snake poisonous?
Safety comes first. For spiders, snakes and other animals where it matters, the species card leads with whether it's dangerous, so you can identify it from a safe distance and act accordingly.
What insect is this in my house?
Kaught works indoors as well as out. Snap the bug on your wall, windowsill or in the bath and it identifies the insect, and tells you whether it's harmless before you decide what to do with it.
Is there a Pokémon-style app for real animals?
Kaught is the closest thing: the satisfying feeling of catching and completing a collection, but with real species you find yourself, in the real world. Types, first-catch stamps and 83 milestone badges make it a game; the animals are entirely real. What Kaught deliberately doesn't do is grade them — no rarity tier, because how often a species gets photographed says nothing about the animal. What it reports instead is the real thing: how its wild population is doing.
